Quick Messaging

The following pages will describe how to set up Quick Messaging for your users. As a prerequisite to enabling the Quick Message functionality, you must ensure that your XDOC Implementation has the ability to send emails via your company's email server. Please contact Customer Support if you need any assistance.

To set up Quick Messaging functionality you must set up the following four areas:

  1. Configuration - Global settings for quick messages
  2. Email Templates - Setting the Subject and Body of the email
  3. Address Groups - Setting the persons to deliver to for the message
  4. Quick Message - Combining the Email Template with the Address Group to define the message

NOTE: All Quick Messaging Admin items can be found in the XDOC Admin in Projects Tab>Project Repository>Quick Messaging
