What are Tokens?

• Tokens are specially formatted text strings that can be included in a message / template components such as an mail subject or email body. They act as Placeholders for data that is dynamically inserted when the message is created. They are identical in concept to a "Mail Merge" document in Microsoft Word, or a fax "Cover Page" in a Fax Server.
• When a quick message is selected, all of the Tokens in the email subject and body are resolved and replaced with the corresponding Application Data that each token represents.
